Richard DeShantz, one of Pittsburgh’s most renowned chefs, is the executive chef at Meat & Potatoes, Butcher and the Rye and Tako in the Cultural District of Pittsburgh, PA.  His cuisine is an homage to rustic ingredients and techniques.  Chef DeShantz approaches each one of his restaurants as a fully integrated experience and designs the interior space, menu and bar program to evoke a character and vision.
