Jarrad Lang

Jarrad Lang, a homegrown upstate New Yorker, has been cooking around the U.S. and Europe since graduating high school. He started by slinging pancakes, working in the back of family style restaurants, and then moving up to cook at the upscale restaurant at Friends Lake Inn in the Adirondacks. While studying abroad at the Le Cordon Bleu school in France, he worked under Marc Meneau at the then 3 star Michelin restaurant L'esperance, before returning to the states to finish his culinary education. Lang says he has an endearing love of butter. His food is classically based, what he likes to call elegant comfort food - cuisine that is slighly daring, but still real food that people will recognize.
